What are the New Jersey Motor Vehicle laws regarding electric bikes?

I am looking to purchase a Jetson electric bike, the specs are below, I am 25 and just received a DWI, so I do not have a license for the next 7 months. Could someone please explain to me where I would be able to operate an electric bike in NJ, like on the roadway or on the sidewalk? and if I am even allowed to? please help?

It goes up to 20mph
has turning signals and lights.
with a 500watt battery
