Is it possible to import products from China to El Salvador?

It's known that China and El Salvador relationships are not the best due to political issues related to the Taiwan-case. However, Im not sure if it also affects the commercial relationships.

I have a friend who wants to buy some products from China and ship to El Salvador but he is not sure whether this is possible or not. He is afraid chinese products are not allowed to be imported by the El Salvador goverment.

If you have some information regarding this I'd appreciate let me know. He is looking to import into El Salvador: Electric Bikes and Flat LCD TV made-in-china.
