Anybody up for Electric Dirt bikes?

why don't you build your own dirt bike? if you are mechanically inclined and have a basic knowledge of electricity, build it. contact the lads at Thunderstruck Motors for more info. they have an electric bike called the Jackel. my first off road bike I converted to electric. it was a lot of fun. #2 was a small street bike also converted to electric and the third one is hybrid electric.

I recently posted a question on YA for ideas for a b'day gift. There was a person who recommended a dirt bike. I dont mind but i'm not a risk-taker. A dirt bike would be amazing but what about an elecrtic scooter. I guess its cheaper and safer. I am a girl turning 13 and live in the UAE. So what is your opinion - Dirt Bike or Electric scooter?

electric scoots are fine.. i would get a gas one, but its up to you. dirt bikes are cool but its an acquired taste (if you will), they also won't get you from point A to point B, cause they're not road legal, at least in the US..

so decide if you mostly want to load a dirt bike up in a truck and drive out to a track/hillside and have some fun. or if you want to go to the store, mall, etc on the scooter.
