Are electric motorcycles cool?

So, I am shopping for my first motorcycle. I was looking at a few bikes. A Ducati Monster 696, a Ninja 600, and a 2013 Zero S (not 2012). The 2013 Zeros have different motors and batteries that give it near 600cc equivalent performance and a 130+ mile range at a top speed of 95MPH. I am a huge EV enthusiast and I currently drive an all-electric car. I'd love an EV motorcycle like the Zero S, but there is one very important factor to consider... the "cool" factor. Do you think EV bikes like the 2013 Zero S are as cool as those other petrol bikes? Or, would the ladies be more inclined to hop on the back of a noisy ICE bike?

You have an all-electric car -- you are already totally un-cool. Nothing could make you cool so you might as well get a Zero.

I paid $4.21 yesterday but luckily it will be my last tank since I got a hand car that will get me from point a to b as long as these points are near the railroad lines.

Liberals don't care how much we pay for gas... They want us all to ride bikes, electric scooters, fly on magic carpets and whatever else liberals do. Gas prices suck and so does this state. Sick of this state and its controlling govt with high taxes to pay for more dumb programs and have them tell what I need and don't need. California needs to split 3 ways, north, south, and Bay Area. All the libs can stay in the bay and have their way, republicans up top, dems down below, everyone's happy and the libs aren't making legislature for anyone but themselves.

Where are you located? There are several electric bicycle dealers around the country. You can find a good list at http://e-bikedealers.com/ or at electric-bikes.com, or bicycle-power.com. Each dealer will carry a variety of lines and products. Options for electric-assist bicycle products include 1) electric bicycles, 2) do-it-yourself conversion kits to put on your existing bike, or 3) the motorized trailer that attaches to your existing bike when you want propulsion, then remove it in seconds when you just want to pedal. If you're interested in utility biking (using a bicycle for transportation rather than a car), any of these is a good solution.

Does anyone know where to get a good looking electric bike for around $400 in or close to philadelphia?

I need an electric bike for parking issues(tickets)..I am able to spend up to 400 but i also want a good looking bike hahaha..anyone know of a place in or close to the philadelphia area?

Good electric bikes start at around $1500 and go up from there. Even decent conversion kits are about $1000. Anything lower than that price point will be a slow, disappointing, heavy pile of junk.
