How do I open the Bell Radian Bike Light battery compartment?

Take out the rubber stopper from thee back of the lights. Then hold down the button that has the battery and the three arrows on it while pulling out the light part of the bike lights.

How many hours will these bike lights last (see link)?

Looks similar to the lights I have for my bike. About 180 hours in the flashing mode. Half that long in the steady mode. I've replaced the AA batteries once in the headlight because I keep that on steady all the time. The rear light is still on the original factory batteries.
